WHAT IS CARTIFELT®?
Cartifelt is a cell-free cartilage implant made from a high-purity mixture of HA and PGA (Polyglycolic Acid). Thanks to its 3-dimensional, fibrous structure, it is a scaffold material that enables tissue remodeling. It serves as a scaffold in the healing of chondral and osteochondral defects.

PGA (Polyglycolic Acid): A biocompatible and absorbable polymer. PGA coated with HA maintains the acid balance in the body, reduces the inflammatory effect and provides high biocompatibility.
APPLICATION PROTOCOL
1. Debride the defect down to healthy bone.
2. Measure the size precisely and cut Cartifelt to the appropriate size.
3. Rehydrate in sterile solution/PRP/HA for 2 minutes.
4. Apply microfracture or curettage.
5. Fix with fibrin glue, sutures or micro-screws.
