BiovaFlex® is a nutraceutical ingredient created through Biova's patented Hydro5™ process, which efficiently separates eggshell and membrane, transforming them into a water-soluble powder. It contains a rich array of nutrients akin to type I and V collagen, elastin, glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, and various amino acids.
A double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving 166 patients across 8 university hospitals in Turkey demonstrated that natural ECM, after 7-10 days of treatment, reduced pain and stiffness associated with arthritis by 40%. Another clinical trial indicated that, following a 30-day regimen of eggshell membrane ECM, general pain was reduced by over 70%.
